So you are hauling for cheaper than 50¢/m per vehicle?

The .50 pm is just like the 2.00 pm garbage. Its outdated and useless.

Year after year drivers say keep the same numbers. @.50 pm you are giving up 48-53' of deck for 1.50. Whats that? 1980S pricing?

i am happy for you that you run at better rates , but i believe this is average in our industry if you are not set up with some one or got accounts anywhere .

I don't have regular customers or accounts you speak of but you won't catch me taking that cheap ####. Thanks for driving down the rates buddy.

The sad part is there is someone reading this wondering how he is doing that good.

There was a newer brokerage trying to get four units moved at $.46 x 4 earlier this week. They had sat for 5 days or so & sent them an email telling them they were too cheap(politely) They did respond respectfully as well, but bumped the rate closer to $.60 cpm x 4 & the cars moved. Who knew?

My point is, stand your ground for better rates. Brokers have to make money, I understand that. But hauling cheap crap is screwing yourself & the industry.
