Paranoia is rampant on this subject. I’ve driven with driver-facing cameras for several years, and no one from management at any of the places I’ve worked has ever called me in about anything camera-related, except once when I was in an accident (the cameras showed the jerk pull out in front of me, and my response). As one safety manager told me, “We’re busy enough already, we don’t have the time, manpower, or inclination to look at video of drivers just doing their jobs. That #### is BORING!”

Heck, I know that my current employer doesn’t watch me because I drove for several weeks with a sock over the camera and never heard a word about it.

Some trucking companies hire 3rd party companies to monitor cameras.
I this Saia writes driver up for eating while driving. Maybe that's another company, but I think it's Saia.

With me, it is not being paranoid. I don't look for black helicopters at night and I am not waiting on the mother ship and I also don't wear tinfoil hats. I also am retired so I guess in a small way I am not part of this conversation. The thing is, I don't like the tracking. If drivers don't start standing up to this tracking one day soon drivers are going to be driving with a probe up the bung and wired up like the Apollo Astronauts were. There just comes a time when ENOUGH IS enough!

I heard they did that in PFJ Corn Dogs too. To deter the Lot Lizards. Poor @Dave_in_AZ lol
(Not that he partakes of Lot Lizards. Just how they abused his Corn Dogs.)

I actually have great pity for the lizards. Put some tub's tool in their mouth's for a few bucks. Can't imagine anyone thinking they'd grow up to be a prostitute when they were in the 3rd grade.

    They are recording 24/7
In the event of an incident it will save pre and post video.

Yeah I hear you on that. I know that is a poor life. Here in FL I know of a person that had a line "waiting" and it was $20 a person. SMH Glad no one I love has had to resort to that life.
