We have driver facing cameras in the trucks at my company. Safety says it's fine for us to cover the camera up when we are parked for the night.

I personally don't mind the camera at all.

While driving a company truck! It’s with in the rights of the company to monitor their employees, on the sleeper, you can cover them when off duty, nearly ever company has managers/supervisors and this industry is no different, there’s no invasion of privacy while you’re at work,
This topic has gotten out of hand, and beaten to death, don’t want the camera, find a company that doesn’t use them, out go out in your own truck and authority
If you take a job that runs these cameras! Then abide by their policies
