That probably depends on how busy the pipeline is... It IS worth waiting for though. Several guys on here did have to wait awhile to get in, but like I said, it is worth the wait Man.

That's cool with me! I'm willing to wait if it gets me away from the pumpkin pukes! Maverick seems like a place that I could stay with for a long time! I wont know how to act being treated with respect. Really excited!!!!! I think Ill just go ahead and fill the on-line app tonight and call them in the morning. Wish me luck!

The app process is great. Once you fill out the app you can click to chat with a recruiter. I received a call in 2 minutes! I turned in all my required paperwork and Now im waiting to be scheduled for orientation. I was told today it will take a week or two because they have applicants ahead of me. Im glad to have an opportunity with a quality company.

Well I got the ball rolling yesterday, talked with Mason in recruiting and got nothing but a great vibe from him and the company as a whole! The ONLY thing I'm worried about is at my current job I might not be getting enough hours according to Mavericks qualifications. But Mason did say they should be able work with what I got! I start my CDL school today and will be sending in my online app tomorrow. Hopefully everything goes smooth, I can't tell you guys how hopeful I am to be a Maverick!! I will keep you posted.

Getting your CDL is very easy. I'm sure load securement will have to grow on you, but will become easier as time goes by. Good luck.

Mason is my recruiter as well. He is always on top of things and easy to get ahold of.

Just wondering. Is there pay during the orientation week? or does it start during the load securement training?
