I don't know. I think you may swing it. I don't ever hook up to a reefer but know how to operate one as i did that for a few months. Idk. I'll call Mike in Gary tomorow and ask.

 

Lol. I just forgot to add it so I responded to my quote so they would be together.

 

I know how to operate one also. I did it for about 3 years for FedEx custom critical. Sure it's not much different from a box truck to a trailer.

 

I've trained a few reefer students. A box is a box. I'll be heading out Monday and looking for a student.

 

Unfortunately I don't start my class until the 21st. I am counting down the days until I leave Saturday for Wisconsin. So excited to get out of the box truck and into a big truck. Hope to meet some of the people that have helped me out on here with all my questions.

 

Do I have to do another DOT physical on I get to class or just the drug test since I have a dot card.

 

You do a drug test when you get there. You will do a hair follicle test the Wednesday before you get hired, then you do a pre work physical screening on hire day. They check you BP and heart rate and do some exercises that you'll need to be able to do for the job.

Yeah. Things are going very well out here. We are getting along fine. Driving is going very well. Getting lots of good practice.
