I’m sure it’s fine to talk right here. You might have a better chance at getting responses if you ask questions.
Why would someone ask you questions on how to help you? We do work for a living so you know.gokiddogo Thanks this. -
It was a problem on another fourm sadly we were trying to talk but the mods gave him lots of trouble sadly and now the guy is banned we were gonna use this to talk on but now i guess never mind

Thank you for your intrest and i do have a few questions such as what seems to pay better flat bed dry van reefer tanker
I have liked flat bed and the pay seems better along with the trailers being much cheaper -
Flat bed does seem to pay the most in the late spring through early fall. Then a lot of guys will switch over to Reefer or dry van.
You can search on google for DAT trend lines and see historical data for the last few years in regards to pricing and load to truck ratios.
IMO van freight is the easiest to find and keep loaded with little dead head. But per mile flat bed pays more. Kinda depends where you live as well. -
Ok i have looked at load board and i live within 100 miles of richmond va so i can get loaded from here easily i will definitaly ask a ex company owner my dad knows the guy had a huge trucking company 300 plus truck company i will see if i can get in touch with him when the time comes thanks for the info
Just looked at it it seems its over 2 dollars per mile all year average -
If you want to stay in touch with him I suggest another forum.
If that doesn't suit you I'd encourage you to look for another forum also.Last edited: Apr 12, 2019
