Well I'm up here in Columbus myself, rooms here aren't too bad (no kitchen, really would have liked to have again). Unfortunately that nasty storm that rampaged through this region for the last 2 days has left Swift (and many other people in Ohio) without power, so we're just on ice for the time being. Looking forward to getting back up on the horse after having the last 8 days off, hoping I haven't forgotten anything.
Roomed up with a guy from Class #821 here chattin' and watching some terrible day-time TV.

    Nelson74 Thanks this.

I was in Class #822 as well. I was the tan guy with the briefcase, heh.

Well we've done a total of 2 days of mixed driving (inner-city traffic, highway, 2 lane country roads, construction, etc) up here and has gone very well for me. I've got the on road stuff and turns down and can shift and downshift quite smoothly (no banging, grinding or surging). The only things I need to work on is keeping BOTH hands on the wheel while turning and stop resting my hand on the shifter driving straight.

Pretty fun and challenging to me!

How long until you get to go home again after the classes begin? Not sure if it's after the time with the trainer on the road or after classes or what.

Pretty good man, been wearing the roads out here on the Northeast and Midwest. Got 190 hrs and closing in!

My mentor has been awesome too, very good driver / teacher and easy going. He just got a 2013 Kenworth T660 before we started, so been nice driving that pretty thing. Only downside is that thing is LONG with that Studio Sleeper...
