Does anyone out there CURRENTLY work for TMC? I've put in an application with them, but I hear mixed reviews. Some people say they love working there, and others despise it. I'd like to hear from current TMC drivers and what they think. I've heard they rip you off on tolls, that you only bring home $400-$500/week. That's a far cry from the $55k-$60k that the recruiter told me. Just looking for input before I make a career alerting decision.

Thanks. I'll check them out. The reason I chose TMC is because they look like they might take me in despite not ever have going to a formal civilian truck driving school. I was a truck driver in the military and was trained there, but a lot of companies won't recognize that.

Thank you for your service as well. It's funny, I came into the Army as an 88M (truck driver), but yet they reclassed me as 11B (infantry) and deployed me twice, once to Iraq and once to Afghanistan. Anytime i was state side, i drove truck. Anytime I was overseas, I was infantry. Good ol' military. Turns out, I was glad to be infantry overseas, because they said the life span of a truck driver in combat is about 7 seconds due to being a high value target and not really anyway of defending yourself.
