If your trailer tires are the same as drives and steer, you might consider swapping those out earlier and running them out on the trailer.

Yes indeed..Last time in CA a few weeks ago I drove 50 miles off route for a fix. Was kind of an accident going off route but I will get over it

I used to enjoy having a meal in Barstow after a grueling two hours leaving the 909 only to enjoy the Cajon Crawl.
I usually parked near the Del Taco and had a couple Barstow tacos or I had a Fatburger. Love that place.
Further down Lenwood road is Los Alazanes which offers a great burrito.

“Cajon Crawl” That made me laugh!
Haven't been through there in awhile.Siinman, Diesel Dave and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -
The term “regional tire” means exactly that. The tire is designed for more local use on secondary roads usually within 300 or so mile radius of the operation.
Likewise, long haul tires are designed for longer runs usually on main roads like interstates. -
Yes, sir. I use official Caltrans lingo gotten from a roadside message board.
Route question: have you ever used Daggett-Yermo road or Mineola road to cross between I-15 and I-40? I'll bet someone has. -
While I certainly appreciate your enlightenment, and without going into the technical minutiae gobbledygook, is there an appreciable difference between the two tires?
-
Negative on the route question.Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.
