I've been thinking about setting up a small shower with toilet inside my truck. I'm rather short so I can fit it under my top bunk. I've already looked into water storage, hoses, pumps and whatnot. What I'm curious about is greywater/septic storage and disposal. Mainly the disposal portion. What size tank is in your rig? Where do you dispose of the septic waste? How often do you have to dump your tank? What type of impact does the weight of the water storage and septic storage have on the truck?
Thanks

I can't answer all of that, I've no shower or anything like that in mine.
Just plain water weighs about 8.6 pounds per gallon. Most RVs have 3 tanks, fresh, grey and black water.
Fresh usually is +50 gallons, grey is +40 and black is +20 gallons.
How often is going to depend upon how often you use your systems, and while I see many rest areas having disposal areas for your black and grey water tanks, I also see many of those areas closed down for one reason or another.
Hopefully that helps. -
You might consider the Thetford Curve for the toilet portion of your plan. It is self-contained and with the addition of the optional floor plate they are used in RV's, boats and trucks, with positive reviews. Seen here at Amazon, followed by a link to the product page at the manufacturer:

Trucks have 2 water tanks Fresh and black. Grey water goes on the ground.
This is the unit that ICT and ARI use.

They make a self contained shower unit somewhere, it folds up and you can stick it against the wall or where ever. The one I have has a fiberglass bottom that drains into itself and can be further drained into a bucket or outside. I don't know who makes it, I bought it from a explorer outfitter when I was in California a few years back.
As mentioed the toilet is an easy thing but I have to warn you, keep it empty as much as you can. I have one in my truck that is in storage (the toilet is actually sitting down stairs cleaned and put away for now) and the one thing that was a PIA was hot summer days with a toilet in the sleeper. -
Just crap on a newspaper and toss it in the trash. Why would you store feces in your truck?

You need to PM Flightline, he has a small house on his tractor.

Besides the fact that what you're suggesting is disgusting. It's also illegal. Even my dog knows better than to ##### on the floor... or "newspaper." So why would I, a grown ### adult, do it?
