Does the hose ever explode when your pumping off?

It can if you pump against a closed valve and the pressure relief valve on the pump is set to high....
Or if the hose is old /dry rotted...
That's a big reason we don't like to pump a long distance threw a lot of hose .

Or when an attendant steps on the hose in well below freezing temps and it splits out the side....the side that you're standing on ....just saying LOL
