    Go to YouTube. You will find lots of solo female drivers and several husband/wife teams where neither look like your stereotypical trucker.

    You could have sued that school. Some truck drivers are not known for their manners. Some probably don't even know that women can vote now. My instructor also told me I would not make it because my shifting was bad. I ended up getting the highest scores in the class. Also, being "small" is a good thing since most tanking companies run small sleepers and you'll be able to climb the tank ladders just fine.

    Hey GF you can do it!!! as far as I'm concerned if you have an opportunity to learn & ad a new skill to your resume with your CDL your GOLDEN...I chose the oilfield & while it's probably a bit more labor intensive at times I still enjoy it but I'm bored with now & the $'s have dropped a LOT so I'm going to join the ranks of OTR & I'm soooo excited to feel like a newb again haha dorky I know haha & times have changed & I love to see the men folks join in with encouragement it's wonderful..I know you'll do great :*D
