Me and my classmate are having orientation out in jopmo july 30th. I just want to know what to expect? How long? Whats in store for me? I heard about an obstacle course, is it easy? anyone know starting pay for new recruits fresh from school? I think my buddy said they pay .44cpm for teams. He wasnt sure if it was split or not. Those of you working at con-way, are you glad to be working there? how is the company overall? Any and all info regarding the orientation/training period would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

That's because the Obstacle course is for when you return from time with your trainer and test. LoL It's not that hard. You'll do more complicated maneuvers on the road then in the course.

I have no ideas about team pay or starting pay, but I'm ###### glad to be driving got Conway. Some days crap goes wrong, but I've always been treated professionally, my pay is always accurate, and the equipment is in good shape as a general rule. I don't run OTR now since a regional dedicated became available, but I'm still treated the same.

I won't lie and say Conway is prefect, butI'd say for a mega-carrier that teaching they're ###### good

I teamed with them for 1.5 years... until 5/2010.. we started at .44cpm split. I've seen recently they took the starting pay from .37 to .36 on solos so I can't say it hasn't changed either.
