Questions for Canadian Residence

    My wife and I are going to go up to Canada for our vacation. Does anyone know of any good places to see and eat in and around Toronto, Ottowa, Montebello and places around there.

    What types of things are you looking to see. Are you more looking for museums and shows or things outside.

    I do like the ottawa region, the rideau canal, parliment, museum of civilization, mint. In the toronto area you can go to the royal ontario museum, catch a baseball, hockey, soccer, football game depending on the time you are there.


    If you haven't been to Niagara i reluctantly say you should go. The canadian side has the better view but it is very kitchy and it is the joke about how long do you have to stand there and look at it before you can leave. Sorry its been a while since I have been in tourist mode in ontario. Went to university in Hamilton but didn't spend much time in Toronto, didn't really offer the things I wanted (namely mountains and the outdoors like Calgary does).

    its between hawksbury and gatineau on quebec side on the hwy that hugs river used to go by it before hwy 50 was completed
