Questions for Newbie Teams

Hiya,

I have questions regarding newbies and teaming with the carriers they choose for employment. I am currently aware that CRST, US Xpress, Swift, Covenant, and Southern Refrigerated enforce teaming rules. I have heard Werner does too. Feel free to add to the list.

Questions:

1. How does your carrier match you and your partner up: Location, smoker, non-smoker, likes, dislikes, etc..??
2. Does your company provide etiquette for teams on how to get along and make things work out or is it just take things as they go?
3. Have you felt uncomfortable by your team mate?? If so, how did you handle it??
4. If you have had good luck with your team mate, what have you done to make it work out???
5. Does your company provide drive support for problems may arise??
6. If you teamed in your career and your a experienced driver; what advice would you give to a newbie fresh out of school destined for a team orientated company??
7. How did you handle driving and home time if you lived in separate cities.
8. If you lived in the same city, how did you handle who drove to home time and from time.
9. Did your your training with a mentor prepare you for teaming by incorporating a teaming phase???
10. If not, how did you prepare for teaming.
