I have an interview with Pepsi this tuesday about a class A driving position. I want a heads up on what to expect at the interview. Will they give me a physical abilities test and take me on a road test, right there on the spot, or is that something they schedule for another day? Is there even a driving test at all?
The reason I'm concerned, is because I've been out of driving school for a few months now and my skills are probably rusty. Plus I'd like to spend a couple of weeks working out, so I can pass their heart rate lifting test.
Any info will be helpfull. Thanks.

I would say for you to be prepared for it all!
I've went to MANY interviews for driving jobs, doing EVERYTHING you could ever imagine in a truck, and theyre all different.
There's been alot where I never even saw a truck, and alot where I was interviewed, road tested, drug tested, and offered the job on the spot.
Just saying be prepared to go in there and have to jump through all the hoops they want to put before you.
and lastly....
STAY CALM AND GOOD LUCK! -
my location used to not road test bay truck drivers, they do know, even went so far as to hire some one specifically for that task. our equipment just couldnt take the abuse anymore. that and the fact that we hire bay truck drivers with no experience.
