Questions from an All State Career N00B

Hey fourm,

I live in Phila PA and go to All State Career School. I think the closest truck driving schools in my area are Smith and Solomon, AAA, and Sage. I am on the last leg of my 6 month training course and am scheduled to graduate in July. I am currently on the range doing blind side parking, then its on to Alley Docking, all skills, then Road Trips. I got prehire letters from Werner and USExpress. I was looking at trucking forums to get other people's stories, thoughts, and opinions about trucking and maybe help me in my decision to enter the Trucking profession (Im currently a Loan Processor for HUD). This seems like a pretty good forum to join.

I have alot of questions to ask and cant think of all of them to fit one thread so I will ask a few. First, any recommendations for a good company to start out with for a 1st year green driver? Second, how much of an adjustment will I need to make after being a desk jockey for the past 9 years? Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. Thanks soon to be fellow truckers
