Questions from someone looking to go Class A

I went to SCC in Lincoln. Super cheap, and the instructor, Mike is a good guy. Then I got on with Grand Island Express. They offer a 6 week apprentice program. It is reefer work, if you can tolerate the noise, but 90% non reefer back-hauls. $1,000 a week guarantee while i was there. My average net was like 1200. Not great, but decent for a rookie company driver. I did that for a year, then moved on to a more local, better paying company.
