Well i`m not totally against going to the school, I really would not mind however the $4,000 makes me mind a little........I am waiting on the school to get approved for VA funding. The school is part of a trade school and is waiting to get word to get approved and then I can use my GI Bill and it would be paid for. But I am ready to go ahead and get my license. I have been waiting on the school to get approved for a couple of months now......

My school was around $950 for tuition. Local community college program, 2 weeks classroom, 6 weeks driving.

Wow that is quite a bit cheaper....this is $3950 for 4 weeks 1 week classroom and 3 weeks driving. I dont plan on going OTR when I am done, I plan on trying to get on somewhere hauling equipment or local oilfield work.....either way I am only going to look at local. I just thought if I got it myself and got 6 months exp. I may not need to school, I am just trying to figure out the best route for my situation.
