The first thing you should do is to talk to a company that doesn't have recruiters. Much better chance of working for a quality company that way.

Do they have forced dispatch? Has the recruiter ever been a driver? What is their driver turnover rate? Explain your pay rate... how much is hazmat, safety and over x miles this month pay? Is orientation paid? Describe your newbie equipment. What amenities do you include... cb, fridge, inverter, apu, etc. What type of discount for cell phone, hotel etc? Can I talk to some of your current drivers?

Pick a few companies that you would work for,do a lot of research and talk to the drivers from that company ...take the good and and bad ..almost like a yelp review and you will create your own list that suits you
