    Hello,

    I'm thinking about leaving Werner, and I have questions;

    1. did you have to give like a week or 2week notice?

    2. did you have to wash the truck with your money?

    3. is there anything I should be aware of when I quit?

    Thanks

    1. did you have to give like a week or 2week notice? A 2 weeks notice is fine so they can route you to the terminal closer to home

    2. did you have to wash the truck with your money? Don't really have to wash it... Btw we get a truck wash a month

    3. is there anything I should be aware of when I quit? You have to return the awesome tool kit and the locks and have to find your onw ride home

    noobcake Thanks this.

    Normally I'd say yes, cause its the polite thing to do. But in this industry people have been known to get screwed on miles, etc after they give notice.

    2. did you have to wash the truck with your money?
    No. You can if you want though. But at $40 a pop just for the exterior, I'll pass.

    3. is there anything I should be aware of when I quit?
    Make sure you aren't under a load and you take the truck back to a terminal. Take pictures of any Qualcomm communication you have with your dispatcher on the matter.

    Thanks for replying.

    I was afraid of not getting miles after I give notice...I guess it depends on dispatcher's mood...

    Would Werner give you notice if they were going to fire you?

    Book time off, clean out your truck and when you get home tender your resignation.
