I sent you a Private message. . Good luck

I'd call around to some prospective fleets that interest you, and who hire new/almost new drivers and explain the situation. Maybe a refresher will be required by some, maybe not.
So long as there weren't any issues at current or with first OTR employer, or recent accidents/tickets, I don't know that' you'll have too much problem -
If you plan on going OTR you may need a refresher then out with a trainer.

Give PTL a call they give in house refresher

What about the company you were with before, will they take you back. Weren't you hauling groceries?
Here's some that might take you and have a rider program for your wife:
Freymiller
Navajo Express
Pride Transport
To make real good money, try to hire on with A&R Logistics. They probably will require a refresher. Check the website.
I think Celadon has a cheap refresher course in Gadsden. Try those others first though. -
I dont think they were all that great looking back on it . I was suppose to get part of my sign on bonus at 3 months . I worked 3 months an when I turned in my voucher they said they would take care of it, almost 3 weeks went by and i turned in my 2 week notice and asked about the bonus they said I forfeited it cause I left . Although I had completed the 90 days . I didn't gripe about it because I didn't wanna burn any bridges . Can still go to work there but don't think I can look past that.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Like others have said, I seriously doubt you will have any trouble. Good move on not going back to a place you know to not be that good, this game is all about moving on to better gigs.
Tonythetruckerdude and Auburnfan205 Thank this. -
