I was told it would take a month or more to get my hazmat fingerprinting results back. What does it mean when it shows "Eligibility Determined" within days of doing the fingerprinting? Does that mean I've been denied for some reason? I fully expected it to take a month or more to hear anything.
I went in last Wednesday and got the actual fingerprinting done for the HME. Twic was last Monday. When I went to check my status the webpage says (on 8-1-14)
ELIGIBILITY DETERMINED
TSA mailed you a letter with information regarding your eligibility determination.
I've never even had a parking ticket. The only trouble I've been in with the police was when I misjudged the distance and ran a red light. The cop just let me go with just a verbal warning to not do it again.
My Twic still shows it's been received and being processed for delivery to TSA.

Call me crazy but I'd wait to see what the letter says. Nobody here can tell you the answer. What I can tell you is my hazmat took 7 business days to come back and my TWIC took 10 business days. I also got a phone call from TSA telling me my TWIC was ready.

I had my Hazmat prints done back in February and it took 7 business days. The results were sent by e-mail to the DMV so check with them and they may already have the results.
DLERST Thanks this. -
You should be able to call them and ask.(could just mean you are clean, we are praying for you) Here is some info that might help you. http://www.tsa.gov/stakeholders/hazmat-endorsement-threat-assessment-program, if you are disqualified for any reason you can appeal it.

That's a relief to know. When the DOL people and the fingerprinting lady said it would be a month or more I though it must be bad news to be so quick. If you got yours that quick then it could be that it was just that fast.
Thanks.
Thank you. It does give me a phone number then said if I haven't received the letter in 10 days after the update date then call in. If I haven't heard from them in a day or 2 I'll call. I think that's about as long as I could handle waiting. -
They probably tell people it'll be a month to keep people from buggin. In my opinion it's a lot faster to clear a guy with no record than it is to clear a guy with a record.

I just got mine done. It took a little over 2 weeks to get the letter in the mail. Easy brezzy dont worry about it. Its out of your control plus you really have to mess up to get denied.
-
It took 3 weeks for my HazMat and TWIC, it mostly has to do with number of applicants and if you do have any kind of record, myself I have been to prison and jail several times(all are over 20 yrs ago) and I passed no problem! You will be ok!

they only want to know if you been hanging out with bin laden. and building bombs
i was told nothing else matters. but that was a long time ago.
