Hi Ya'll,
My husband just called and told me that he's gonna have to wait two days before he can deliver his load. He's going to Ontario, CA and wondered if I could ask ya'll what truckstops he could stay at, safely, for two days...and which ones he should definitely avoid. He's on I10 heading west. Thanks!
Quick! Hubby needs safe place...

Hi ,
There are a couple of TA's there in Ontario...nasty, lots of lot lizards but nothing has ever happened to me and I'm female... (this his 1st trip to Cali?) -

She made me quit that same instant when she read lot lizards

If he wants to stay in Ontario itself, the TA or Petro are next door to each other, just west of the intersection of I-10 and I-15. They were both called TA, but the east changed to Petro.
Both charge $20 a day to park, or parking is free if you spend $20 a day (and show the receipts). Or you can buy fuel and get free parking, but they have some of the most expensive fuel in the country.
I've never had any issues staying at either one. You go through a gate and get a time stamped ticket going in and go out a guard shack/toll booth on the way out.
There aren't any other clean and safe options in the LA basin, unless want to go out of route a ways. The Morango Casino about an hour east has a lot of truck parking. -
Ontario is truck friendly or he can stay near mira loma (15 min away from Ontario ) plenty of truck parking at farmer boys/costco staging area. Warehouses and restaurants around there have free parking

I would hope he has delivered by now this thread is 10 years old. However, some grocery warehouse are pretty slow!
