    Hello there,

Does anyone know if it is true that a accident will drop off your driving record after 3 years? I really want to drive but I have 4 accidents, the last one is going to be 3 years old in Nov in this year, anyone know if I have a chance of being a trucker?

    Thank you for your help!

Go to the DMV and pull your H-6 10 yr that will tell what on there. Is about 10 bucks.

If you have 4 accidents in less than 3 years please consider something else to do for a living. Trucks tend to kill people when they have careless drivers. 3 accident in 5 years is considered excessive by most companies.

Records of convictions and accidents/incidents can remain on ones MVR for up to 7-years under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

From a retired federal DOT official.

Yes, accidents drop of after 3 years. But companies hire based on your H-6, which is your 10-year MVR. It costs the same as the 3 years MVR, which is $5.00.
