I got a load starting from a shipper south of Atlanta at I-20. I’m going to the stop in McCleansville NC east of Greensboro. I’ll be getting loaded at 12pm so I figure a 2pm completion. Question is should I take i20 east which is an hour longer per gps, or 85 through Atlanta and Charlotte during rush hour. Any advice is appreciated.

285 to 85. By the time you get to Charlotte, you should still be in good shape. 77 will suck, but it sucks more the later in the day.
You shouldn't have any problems in Atlanta.J.S., Flat Earth Trucker and Sirscrapntruckalot Thank this. -
I personally would take I-20, way less traffic.
if time allowed, I used to run that way.
I-85 between Atlanta and Charlotte stays crowded 24/7.
don't know about current construction delaysJ.S., Flat Earth Trucker and Sirscrapntruckalot Thank this. -
Yeah I don’t have any time constraints. Fuel is a lil trlr of aboriority. How’s i20 on fuel compared to 85?
