I am curious if any of you have done this? Also I am planning to leave the grease fittings in each ratchet unless someone gives me a reason this would be a bad idea. It is also recommended to replace all of the seals and I am wondering if this is really necessary for the seals that are in good shape.
Quick spin maint.

aslong as you tie down bar won’t hit the fitting i don’t see a problem with it. my last truck had quikspinz and i was at cottrell and they had no idea how to keep them greased. that was in 2014

Zerks won't clear the bar, buddy of mine just tried that. Someone had the idea of using one of those needle adapters on the end of the grease gun and just pushing it in past the seal.

BTW, one of the guys broke the head off of one. They're pretty simple inside, typical ramp-style slipper clutch. Two plates held together with spring pressure, with teardrop shaped dimples, and maybe 3/8" balls in between. The teardrops let the balls roll one way to allow the ratchet, but the blunt end prevents that and locks the two plates together to turn the winch.

Not going to be much help to the quick-loaders, though. A bunch of their ratchet heads have a frame in front of them where you won't be able to get that straight needle in. I think a couple of your belly ratchets are the same way, aren't they?
Either way, having to pull plugs and screw in the zerk on a few is better than having to do the whole dang rack that way! -
