Today i came across a job listing for Quick trip driver assistants. Looks like it might be right up my ally since i got my CDL almost 2 years ago and have never driven. I have been looking for a decent paying company that would take a guy like me and have me home every night. Here is the link for the job if anyone is interested. Driver's Assistant (CDL Preferred) - Charlotte, NC - Indeed.com
What happened after you got your CDL? Why didn't you start a driving job? Just curious, not trying to start anything
I looked over the website; looks ok for anyone wanting to be home daily and have more of a normal schedule. Employee benefits page looks real good.

I got my CDL because I planned on leaving my job because I hate it. But everytime I was about to get into trucking i would either get a raise or a promotion. I make 20.50 an hour as a supervisor. I get 3.5 weeks of vacation 401k match. Free college for me and my kids. With all the overtime and holidays I get close to 50k a year. I also have 3 young kids and a baby momma who won't work. So going on the road to start would be tough. But I'm so burned out in my job i just can't keep doing it.
