If I were to quit a CDL job after working only 1 day do I still need to put that job on my resume? Also, are potential employers able to see a CDL job I quit and able to see the dates I worked?

I have a clean driving record and clean criminal record.

I’m DEFINITELY NOT the type of person to leave jobs so quickly but this specific company is extremely unsafe and there trucks are a total joke.

**After only working 1 day yesterday I still haven’t filled out my W2 forms and all my other hire paperwork**
not sure if this makes a difference. I was given my new hire packet yesterday after my shift but haven’t filled it out yet.
    Thanks for the help

Best because all the letters of CDL should be capitalized, and "quitting" is present gerund, the correct conjugation for asking the question. Good eye.

I don’t post on here much. Still learning this. How do I delete the previous questions?

You can't, but you can ask an admin to do it.

To your question, we need to bring some top regulation guys here. I recommend @ZVar

If you "worked" for them in the sense that they owe you payment... there will be a labor department & tax records. Therefore it will show up when a potential employer runs your SS# through the system.
If you weren't actually on payroll or they wont have payment for you, they're probably not going to go through the trouble of processing you as an employee.

So, you can make your personal decision from there.

Thank you for your comment. Considering they don’t have any of my direct deposit info and if you only worked a day what would you do? Would you just include them on your resume or just leave them out. I’m still relatively new to this business so I’m still learning how things work
