Quitting lease without 2 week notice?

    Thats it ive had enough im super mad these idoits can never get me home on time and i have to be home! Im 300 miles away from yard. Would that be bad to just quit? Without two week notice i could have truck back tommorow morning. I have another job lined up and cqnt wait to leave here my lease ends in june. I hace an appt at home i had to tlschedule 3 weeks in advance and i cqnt start my other job without doing what i have to do

    Return the truck and quit. No reason for a two week notice.
    There's a line of newbies just waiting for that truck.

    Seriously it wont go against me? What about other companies down the road calling for employment verification?

    That’s always a risk you have to take. You have a job lined up already. Take that job and then don’t ever use that other company as a reference

    Umm. It's your truck. Bobtail the 300 miles and get home.
    Otherwise read your contract. What does it say about canclimg the lease?

    Yes, most likely. However it will only be the dates you worked, your reason for leaving and your rehire status. Don't abandon any equipment. Just get home and turn it all in. Then all your dac will say is driver quit and the rehire status will say rehire with review. No problems with DAC.
