I'm not doing that quite yet. I told the recruiter with Henderson that I will need to turn the truck in back in Nashville and I'm not sure when that will be. I am waiting to see if he can get me setup for orientation this coming Tuesday. If not, I will send my DM a message first thing Monday morning telling him I need to get back to Nashville as soon as possible.

Just make sure ur not under a load or they will consider it abandonment. Me personally i would put in hometime and when i get to home terminal i clean out my truck and walk in. To dispatch and hand them the keys and say have a good one.

Just out of curiosity how long have you worked for WE? The not a year in makes me wonder. Most if not all places you gotta put your time in as the whipping boy until dispatch knows they can count on you. If you haven't worked there very long you may run into this with the new company too until you can prove yourself as a safe reliable driver to them. Lease purchase drivers (no hate to them, just being real) try to refer anyone they can because most of em are broke. Is WE your first company? I wish ya the best man but you will only get out of this what you put in.

Thank you for the compliment. I used to just quit jobs for no reason without a backup. However, age and wisdom has prevailed over the past few years. I won't gonna say a word to anyone about it until I knew for sure the application was approved. In addition, Henderson has apus on their trucks as well as a TV and satellite. I don't have to buy that stuff. I'm not sure about a fridge though.

I have been solo with them for four months. I have only had one late delivery and that was because I shut the truck down myself due to a bad brake chamber on the steer axle. That was during that DOT blitz in June.

Anyone with a cdl doesn't need to wait a year to change jobs.

They do? Lol. I live 10 minutes from their Caseyville terminal and have heard 3x more bad than good from the drivers I’ve dealt with. Just another ####ty OTR company with a lot of bs and brokers is what I hear

If the learned and exalted betters in the dispatch office with all the computer and technology all over the place cannot find him a empty ready to get within a couple hours at most.... move on.

One time my Brother tried to collect his Air Force pay in the paymaster at Aberdeen. Took 6 hours as the Pay office quibbled over his Airforce pay sheet. Not necessarily the Army way back then.

How do you know that those driver weren't just looking for a handout? No offense to them but when I see a comment like that, red flags start going up as to the validity of the statement.

I understand, but I always question why drivers are complaining, but still work for a company.
I'll ask them, "If it's so bad, why do you still work there?"
