I don't do that. If they start talking to me, I won't say anything about having worked at Western Express. I will just refer them to Henderson.

I gotta put a nomex fire suit on for this because I am gonna get flammed hard for this. It's that just otr in general tho? Like seriously 99% of the companies are ####ty low pay jobs everyone #####es about? I could be very wrong and I hope I am but from reading on here it sounds like unless you can get into a real small mom and pop outfit that charges enough on the rates to pay you well and they have the work to keep you moving you will be working for a company paying 40ish cpm waiting on freight because the market sucks right now. There are always gonna be disgruntled people that say look at what happened to me. The reviews online for me job are terrible and I love it and make great money so you can't just go off what other people say. It sounds like you have your mind made up so I would leave WE on good terms (I hope you don't own them anything for training) and kick ### when you start this new company. When you find yourself sitting at the new place (back to the whole otr thing, I'm betting you will from time to time) just stick it out no matter what for a few years so you can actually go where you want and actually learn the job.

I think at the time it was $.40 a mile. It was better than us and I know it was 40+. This was 6-7 years ago.

Oh my ####ing God....no wonder the lease driver told you it was great. Wow dude, you think you might have just been played for a dude that is getting ripped off by said company so he can pay his bills.

Well, I can honest say that for their reefer division with getting 67% of line haul costs, 100% of truck and reefer fuel costs, and 67% of all other costs, that sounds decent. Of course, I am a newbie and I am sure that things won't be easy for the first little bit. However, I know how to manage my money decently and since I went solo with Western, I have almost $1000 in my savings. I won't be lacking for much. So, I do think I could make a go of it for their lease purchase reefer division.

    GET OUT.

I know absolutely nothing. and I see exactly where you are sitting in that J as if i am sitting there with you myself.

THAT many gathering of company trucks in the wild from your own outfit to me is a storm warning, time to reef sails, come about and run before the approaching storm at sea.

    GET OUT.

Yeah. That thought crossed my mind too. However, like I said, I have about $1000 squirrelled away in my savings. It won't easy though. I practially had to starve myself in order to do so. But I got it saved. :D

You had to starve yourself to save which means you can do what it takes to handle your money which is good but if you are tight now saving money imagine throwing$1000/wk payment or whatever on top of that and what happens when the wheels stop waiting for a load then?
