Go for it. Coca Cola is about as recession proof as you’ll find. Much better than any Truckload Carrier or LTLs. More than any Freight Company. Good steady work, holidays, summertime, it never ends. Good place to be during a recession. Beats spending the weekend at a Truckstop, 1000 miles from home, waiting on the unknown. I remember when it seemed every other Driver was asking who I hauled for, and if I was getting any miles. OTR does slowdown during a recession, while Companies try to avoid cheap loads, miles go down. Drivers pay often goes down also, at best it stays the same. With current inflation, it’s going down, even if it stays the same. I vote for Coke, especially during a recession. Truckload OTR is always going to be available, should you change your mind.
