Yeah I know all about that and we will bring it up if she doesn't get into training soon. Trying to start off on the right foot so we are showing some patience on the issue.

    Hey RizenPhoenix,

I have been off the road for a few years and looking to get back into it. I do have my class A and a updated med card but with that much time away from trucking alot of companies don't want to bring me on board. The three companies that I am considering are Werner, Schneider & Knight. Knight says if I run team for a few weeks they'll let me run solo company driver after that. I have heard some bad press on all 3 companies, for be it for truckers to complain, but what do you think of Knight?

"because we let them" That is is the honest truth! From not being paid the actual miles you drove to all of the free on duty time the driver gives to their company. And everything in between. I don't know how those drivers do it?

I think either Knight or Schneider would be about the same. You'll need to decide what's important for you concerning things like home time then do some research to see which one fits you best. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Werner.

    Thursday
    Dropped load on Boise yard
Picked up a load at the yard to Pasco, WA that Delivers ASAP, which for me will be about 0700.

They have found 2 non smoking female trainers that both have students that will finish up in about a week. So she'll be headed out with I assume which ever one of them is ready to go first

    Is that NC16?
Until February of this year I was stuck in a 2nd floor office with a view of Hwy 16 in Lincoln County NC.

    RizenPhoenix,

Thank you for your input, I am leaning towards Knight, starting on 8/20. Best of luck to you and your wife, I don't know many couples that could run together without going crazy. You two must really have it together.

    Rizen,

Was nice to see your post here. Was bummed when Pride didn't work out. Your posts there I found very informative while I was reading them, and helped shape my high regard for Pride. Glad you and wife are going to be able to team. Best of luck to you both.
