I work at r&l, just turned 4 years. I would not tell any one to work here. I work out of china grove and every day is a cluster you know what...and yes it has gone down hill a lot. this company will never be one of the top freight haulers no matter how much bs they spew......
R&L or Dayton Freight?

All then brand new trucks at that.. my buddy driving trucks 2000 miles on them. And never even breaks or hooks his sets 90% of the time

Well thats unfortunate, I was gonna apply there in a week or so...been doing my research and came across this post. Was hoping to get out of this otr gig and do local, my circumstances and military obligations just don't mesh with being gone weeks at a time anymore.. -
R&L should be at the bottom of the list of LTL carriers you should apply to. They pay no overtime and they make you buy your own hand trucks and pallet jacks out of your own pocket. Basically the Swift of LTL.
DieselPowerrr and speedyk Thank this. -
There's one in AZ like that, no OT and 18/hour. Advertising a lot.
