"R" Place in Morris,IL

Great place to eat! I love the decor, awesome food, delectable desserts, big portions. one of the very few truck stops I would bring my kids and grandkids to eat there.

 

Yes I love that place, Ive spent quite a bit of time in that place waiting on Costco loads when I used to work for that oh so great company(joke). Great food, but the parking will fill up in a hurry and then people start making there own parking spots. I used to love eating at that Ihop across the street to. One thing that made RPlace nice was the waitresses, they were friendly and the one I had thanked all the truckers for what we did and that she appreciated our hard work.

 

They have big showers also!!!

 

i've been there before. it was back in february. that place rocked.

 

Thanks, will have to check the place out, always stop back around mm 77 or where ever the J is because there is usually parking & am really not a fan of TA's. Will be worth it though if the food is good.

 

Oh yes the food is the best, and so is the service in the restaurant.

 

That place, is actually a great truckstop. Yes its a TA now, but my talks with the managers and waitress's have told me that they plan on keeping the resturaunt just the way it is and possibly model other TA resturaunts after them. AWESOME!!!!! I love the food, desserts and the fact, like Bossellmans, have a signature dish that attracts people to it. Wasnt able to finish the Big Ethel, but I did manage Bossellmans Burger.

 

When you go in the restaurant door driver really sit to the left side. BUT if you go to the right and sit in a booth the tables have antique toys and things in them. Over the ceiling in the whole restaurant there is toys, riders, bikes and signs. Really a neat place. I look forward to getting by there!
