Does anyone know anything about R&R Trucking based in Joplin, MO?
I was offered a job with them but have only found their site. I'd rather talk to a driver first befor I go.

RandR out of Joplin is a munitions carrier, like Baggett and Tri-State. You should get a fair shake working there, because they do Govt loads and can't be messin' with flaky drivers and crybabies. When Uncle Sam orders up a truck, you best show up with QUALIFIED drivers and equipment, right?

you are correct....I saw plenty of R&R trucks when I was pulling for Landstar in the same places we went, Uncle Sam don't play when it comes to loads..The drivers I spoke with all seemed pretty happy..

A/E haulers are a unique group that are more like family and the bad apples get weeded out quickly because of DoD security requirements. While things have changed over the past few years with cut rate companies hauling this freight and not properly training their drivers, for the most part, the people doing the driving are good people who, no matter what company you drive for, seem to get along very well.

Your business plan to establish your start-up trucking company is almost complete. You did the research and you followed the instructions to create your personalized trucking plan. You proofread and reviewed it and you are proud of your accomplishment; however, your work is not yet complete. Set the plan aside for a few days and then review it again critically from the viewpoint of a banker or investor.

Great trucks, great pay! Lots of hazmat loads. Made the big bucks while teaming for them. They keep you moving. Nothing for them to bob-tail you 1000 miles and pay you! Pretty strict on goverment loads. Would go back to them in a heartbeat with the right team member.

We left them last august. We were only getting 1 load per week around 1200 miles, things are real slow in A & E right now.
