I've dropped company trailers at rail yards (San Bernardino) and was easy. However, I've not picked up, but, figure the inbound trailer is going as close as the rail can get it to consignee, then the final stage is you, delivering to consignee, right ? Could be 5 mi or 200 mi. Expect to be in the rail yard often.

Do a THOROUGH inspection of those trailers from the railyard, Don't even hook to the thing until you have FULLY checked it out. This is doubly true if your company pulls any reefers.
