Rain And Mormon Cricket Sludge Causes Numerous Accidents

Ive driven over those bloody things and grew up in areas that had them. They arent kidding. Those roads are all kinds of slick when you run those critters over, and if its raining its basically slime and good bye traction.

That said, as a rule if you see a teaming mass of brown unless it was a crest a hill and suprise thing....well why didnt they slow down?

 

Just drove through a few of them on US-50 and 95 ..... Not as bad I remember last year about this time in Austin.... But we'll see was planning to head back to UT tonight.... That climb out of Austin was super bad with them last year.... Good inch+ thick shoulder to shoulder on a very narrow switch back 9% climb.

 

Crickets or mormans?

I'm not sure that's any safer these days.

 

Crickets dont knock on your door and try to convert you to Cricketism or any kind of Cricketry
But they are the one true insect

 

Not the first time hordes of Mormons have terrorized travelers. Ha!
