Only complaint is it leaves a film in the winter time. You really notice it at night
OLDSKOOLERnWV and sshewins Thank this. -
Been thinking about polishing the glass and using regular wax.
The people who installed my replacement windshield (safelite), said they have a product that blows away rain x. Buddy said he was gonna try itOLDSKOOLERnWV Thanks this. -
Not a big fan of the new stuff, still use it in the summer, but seems to make things worse in the winter. For removing the film build up,soak a rag with alcohol,it takes a little scrubbing if you let it build up to much.
T_Bone Thanks this. -
I always use the wipe on Rain-X on my Harley windshield, other vehicles I use the "orange" windshield wiper fluid with rain-X in it. My notion the orange works best, I've driven from WV to Alabama in rain and never use the wipers except when I slow down.sshewins Thanks this. -
It does work. I stage 3 detail my cars every about 3 months and when I do my windshields and side windos especially on my bmw. I took, the wipers off. So,sometimes when it rains the rain at anything over 50mhph just slides off. I haven't had wipers on in over two years no joke. I also clean my semi truck windows in rain x spray I put 3'coats and the water send snow just slides off.sshewins and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this. -

I know you can buy the premix for rainx to dump in the windshield washer reservoir, how about the spray or the little bottle in terms of lasting. A friend of mine only uses it every three months and claims it lasts
