Ran over semi tire and broke my air lines. FML

I know most people get nervous about recaps but if the right place does it they will be fine. I run virgin tires on the steer axle only. The only problems I have had have been my fault.
Might be a low cost option, just a thought especially if your tires were not very old they should get casing credit.

 

ive run the r123 trailer tires. they are good for what they are. i had them on a flatbed so didnt get the best life out of them.. if you run them hard, as in like offroad or on the front axle on a spread, the tread likes to chip away

 

if they have a deal on some double coins. they are a decent brand as well. those were the only tires that could hold up to the abuse i put them thru.

 

Half the recaps i every had blew out

I would never run recap tires .
