Rand Mcnally 510 keeps stalling

    I have a TND 510 and it stalls sometimes. it will work flawlessly sometimes, then slow down, then work fine, then completely stall out. Any easy fix?

    I don't have any experience with the RM but I have found that others who have Bluetooth and/or traffic ... turn them off unless you really want or need them. Also, maybe reduce the map detail displayed to medium if it's presently at max.

    The 510 is getting older. Have you tried updating the software?

    Does your truck have a power window on the passengers door?:biggrin_25523: If so unplug it wrap it in the cords and stuff and toss it out the window! It has met its time here and it is time to go on! :biggrin_25512::biggrin_25513: I just got the newest addition of a Truckers Atlas! I have not a single clue. Thanks.

    its been updated. in fact one time I updated it and it made the problem worse. sometimes it works great for weeks at a time. maybe I just need to buy a newer one. lol

    It's probably the discombobulator rhetorical chip is bad. Change that out and you'll be good to go.
