There is one version that does not. The new version does though. It will be marked on the box if it is.

 

Also you can verify that the device has the latest firmware

First of all, you need to make sure that you have downloaded the latest firmware updater application for your device (Not for your App on your phone)

It’s important that the main EZ-ELD application is closed and not paired to the device before you attempt to upgrade the device firmware.

Please also ensure when upgrading that you do not disconnect with the device until the upgrade has completed
