Well the TND tried to route me on a non-truck route for the first time yesterday. On US-59 South from Houston to Laredo at Beeville, TX there are no trucks allowed through Beeville on 59. When I got there there were signs that routed me around the town. "Amelia" was freakin out and tryin to route me back into town but I just followed the truck route signs and was fine.

That must have been a random error on mine. I've had it recalculate from different places with different settings (and the same settings) and it routes all the way to that address now.
I had to turn avoid tollways back on since without that it wanted to route me back through Chicago down every toll road it could find. I'd rather deal with the errors avoiding tollways than constantly get routed out of the way to get on one. It routed me onto a tollway anyway, I-39, with avoid set.
The battery went dead and it shut off on me with nothing but a 5 second warning, so that still needs to be fixed. There's no indication on the TND when it loses power so you have no idea that it's going to die in the middle of the trip. The tiny battery indicator didn't show up and I wouldn't notice it if it did. It's an orange icon in the upper left corner set right over the orange turn arrow so you can't see it. Speaking of which, the plug isn't tight enough in the power socket so it keeps working its way unplugged.
I'm having problems with my screen, it's not registering clicks properly. I couldn't close a full screen popup last night even though the button changed color and it made the click sound every time I touched it.
For the calculation speed, it wanted me to turn west to go south to the interstate and come back east. The garmin wanted me to turn east at the same intersection to go south to the interstate to go east. I turned east, as that made sense. I turned off the equivalent of 6th street, passed 7th, 8th, and came to a stop at the light at 9th before the TND finished recalculating.
The sleep function doesn't work on mine and neither does the resume previous route. When I power it back on after several failed attempts, the screen will flash the map screen and shut itself off. Then I have to power it on and wait for it to reboot. When I hit resume route, the only thing it remembers, and it doesn't always, is the destination. Nothing about the route is saved so it starts recalculating the entire route again. Then it had to recalculate the entire route again because it thought I was going in the opposite direction for no reason. -
The battery indication has been fixed in the next version. It will give you a low battery icon about 5 minutes before your TND's battery is dead.
The power plug Rand is looking at, on some trucks they stay in, some they pop out. If you look at the socket in the front is it not as deep as the ones in the back. So the standard DC plug does not fit like it should.
The Sleep function has been fixed in the next version. They did some internal code work on the memory.
On your main screen\preferences\device settings\align screen. try aligning the screen and let me know if that helps.

Where was the above at?

The location was turning off 251 south at whatever town that is to get back on 20 to 39 south around the toll portion. I could look it up if the TND left a trail... -
Thanks -
A few days ago when I was in Hartford, CT the TND slowed way down and she would update where and when to turn WAY after I was already to, or past the turn. I finally pushed the reset button on the back and that seemed to do the trick. She did this two evenings in a row. This had never happened before and hasn't happened since. It only happened in that genereal area of CT.
