Rand McNally intelliRoute TND 500

I got that a few times. Usually when the road info contridicted itself.
The county and the state had different weight limits etc, and both were in the unit.
It got confused. Happened in Chicago and in Delaware to me. But that was a few months ago.
I restarted the unit and waited a few miles. Then had it route again, was fine then.

 

Yeah, it was weird. The unit kept working and I finally cleared the popup to see what it'd do. It kept right on going like nothing was wrong. Whatever that was it must not have been important.

 

After the update, the warning for toll booth is way off; when the toll is less than quarter mile, it says 2 mile ahead. This happen on Florida Turnpike.

Also the speed limit will disappear when I don't follow the unit couple times, but it will come back when I go over the speed limit.

 

If you could, connect your TND to your computer, open my computer and you should see the TND as an external drive. We are looking for the Folder Navi.

Under the Navi folder is a folder called logs. Could ayou attach those logs files to an E-mail.

They might give us a clue to as why you got those errors.

I sent the logs in to rand through the dock. Are these different logs that don't send through there?

 

same logs, but I would like to see what your TND is doing... without your internal TND serial number, it would be hard to track your logs down.

I used to get this all the time.

The other error that would come up in the same type of window, with almost the same wording is "navi.exe."

This one would hang the system most of the time.

 

You should not be getting these errors anymore. If you are, I would ask to make sure you are on the latest version, if so, then contact me.
