Oh yeah, there's a possible flaw in the way the unit deals with restricted roads. Since the flags are set right at each intersection, it can and will weave a path between them, like this: _|¯|_|¯|_ If both parallel roads are restricted, it will do this thinking it's avoiding the restrictions when it actually isn't. And since most of the cross streets are usually residential, which is likely to be restricted and not entered in the maps, it's even more of a problem.

That route on 110 today, it routed that way. It actually routed east off 25, north on some street, east on 110, north on another street, east on another street, south, east on 110 again, then south again. Something like that, it was silly.

From RM: There is a 73,280 lb restriction on this road. Latest Weight
Restriction map from Arkansas DOT still shows this restriction.

    Thanks,
    Mark

On the road, yes, miles from the town where rand has the flag set. Do they flag the interstate through downtown Atlanta as restricted but put the flag 400 miles away? Cause that makes the same amount of sense.

I am not understanding what you are saying. You gave me a State\city\road that was giving you restrictions. It does have restrictions,,,but, I do not understand what you mean::

On the road, yes, miles from the town where rand has the flag set.

    thanks,

Let me put it this way, if there is a bridge with a 73,000lb limit on a road, do you flag the bridge or the entire road for 10 miles in either direction? Cause that's how they have this road set up now. One section of the road is restricted, rand has the entire road restricted.
