I-75 and hwy 92 in Williamsburg, KY. I had to pull that off the 465t since there's no way to see where you've been on the TND. Hope Garmin doesn't sue us.
Also CR 512 in Quitman, MS west of 145 is marked 73,000 and change. I set the TND down to 72,000 and it still said I was in violation.

I would like all the ramps to beer stores that have truck parking checked.
Also a beer store POI would be niceMark Kling Thanks this. -
Hi, Mark
Sorry to hear your not feeling good, the last time I had pneumonia I would sleep for 14 hours straight.
When in car mode, mileage is still recorded in the truck mode and the log mode.
The speed icon in the lower left corner disappears if you open the turn by turn mode and tap on a turn to view it on the map then close out by using the tab instead of the green back button. To get the speed icon back just reopen the turn by turn and close it using the green back button.
I-25 south exit 7 in Wy still doesn't show up. The GPS routes you to exit 2 then back north to exit 7.
My father in law just bought a TND 500, he has to wait till this weekend to update it, he wanted to know how he could get another car charger for it so he can directly wire it in to his international. He only has one power outlet on his dash.

Very little sleep in 5 days, plus oddball drugs.
Car mode - will double check again in beta version to see if fixed.
Speed icon has been fixed in beta version so will be good in next production version.
Wy issue forwarded up to RM.
Extra DC adapter, I will have to query RM. I have a few bad ones, but the end he needs are the bad ends.
Thanks,
Mark -
Ok guys I am getting either this one or the garmin within the next few days so which do you recommend? I haul a fuel tanker part of the time and a van the other part. It seems like all I see are complaints about this unit so would the garmin be a better buy? Thanks
-
This thread is more of a support type of thread. If everyone liked everything about something then nothing would be said.
Truckers like to complain so, RM welcomes all pros\cons about this TND.
Some issues are beyond our control, but RM can and does work around those issues.
RM takes and gives the driver what no other company has done before, a voice.
I would suggest going to www.dieselboss.com and follow the links to their reviews of navigation devices.
All I can say is that each update outshines the one before it.
Thanks,
Mark -
The Garmin thread was full of complaints too. It died when we realized that Garmin wasn't listening.

I haven't tested it, but if the TND charges off the usb cable, he could plug it into his inverter if he has one. A lot of those come with a usb power outlet now. If the cable is too short just use some cat 5 to lengthen it.

Instead of being one of the drivers who complain I decided to be a driver who finds the imperfections so RM can make this the best trucking GPS on the planet.
It is not perfect but when it routes you perfectly through a place like Tulsa with several interchanges and lots of construction you will be glad you had the TND 500 !
ChrisMark Kling Thanks this.
