update anyway to get the most current POI's updates, Global POI ratings and the most current Construction updates (found under the Turn-by-Turn listing on the map page when in a route)

    Thanks,
    Mark

Computer will not recognize the GPS. Brand new i7 laptop. I downloaded TND Dock from RM site and installed then booted GPS and I get nothing. The dock does not see it, I hear no sounds when I plug it in. I have rebooted both devices several times and nothing. When I downloaded supposedly the latest TND Dock and installed when it ran for the first time it said updates were available and I ran the update again. This does not bode well, I have over 20 years with computers so I know what I am doing on that end. I bought the last one so if it is a defective unit it will have to be exchanged elsewhere.

Try this,,, connect the TND to the computer,,, close the Dock. In looking at your external drives on "my computer" one should have two folders called RM and Navi. In the Root of that drive is a file called NaviInfo. delete that file and disconnect from the computer. reboot the unit and when it boots to the accept screen, then reconnect to the computer...

if this still does not resolve the issue, E-Mail me,,, rmleadbetatester at gmail so I can give you my phone number.

    Thanks,
    Mark

In reply to an earlier post..

RM has added a bug to the quality center to remove the "All trucks
Prohibited" flag from US-119. RM has verified with the KY DOT that
US-119 is now a STAA Route.

    Thanks again..

There is an error in the data on US-75. Its displaying a 40,000 lb
weight restriction on US-75 between Lavender St and 22nd St. RM has
created a bug in the quality center to fix the error.

    Thanks,
    Mark

My husband and I purchased our TND yesterday. We were on both I-495 and I-74/Bypass74, in NC today and neither road was listed. I updated tonight to 1.0.59.0 and 1472, then tried adding routes that would use these roads, they still do not show up. I am sitting in a motel in Mt. Airy, NC, so that may be a factor.

If the roads are fairly new (in the last 2-3 years) they may not be in the database yet.
This happens allot with all the GPS units. It takes a long time for the mapping company's to add roads. I have found several like this, but I expected them to not be there, were not in other units I have had either.

I bought the pcmiler-navigator when it came out. I'm sticking with it for now. I like being able to pick an address from a map instead of putting in an address.

ChromeDome is correct, it does take some time to get new construction entered into the mapping database, but I-485 has been corrected in the next release of the mapping database. This is one of my test areas as I live about 40 miles from Charlotte. I tested the new mapping database last weekend and it worked very well...

This is to include the famous US-70 from Statesville, NC to Salisbury, NC...

Guess I will have to find some more "broke" roads...LOL

    Thanks,
    Mark
