Rand McNally intelliRoute TND 500

Etter, TX is also missing from the database.

 

Looks like all of the "Etter" addresses are found under "Dumas" which looks to a be little larger. Of course, my basement is also a little larger than Etter, TX, I believe. Just and FYI if you ever have another drop in Etter until the next map update comes out.

 

Speaking of map updates, I'm seeing errors on the TND that aren't on the 465t. IE the 465t has newer maps on it somehow.

 

More on the CONNECTING ROAD thing. The roads do have names. The TND just doesn't have them.






And, failure.

 

I have not gotten that application error in forever.
Last time I got it was because there was conflicting info on the route. They had multiple different truck attributes assigned to the same road, and it caused a crash.
Worked fine after reboot though.

 

Sent you an email Mark sorry i didnt get back to you sooner i turned an Alabama last week and got stuck in a bloody wind and snow storm up here friday night heheh

 

Whats going on when the unit "freezes up"? Anyone else had this problem? Also I tried to find a flying J in Quincey, Ill. it gave me directions to that wasnt there.

 

It might just require a reboot or an update in software but talk with mark before you update any software i beleive their working on something but try and reboot and see if it helps

 

i also have files here which have insertable gps coordinates to all the major truck stops across the USA they are longitude and latitude readings if anyone would like these files please let me know it would be a pleasure for me to forward them and help out a fellow driver

 

3 days and 130 pages later, I decided the TND 500 would be a good purchase. So far so good. I already sent a message to RM though, Mark, maybe you can shoot in a message too. I think there should be an option to allow the log timers to count down by the minute and not just by quarter hour increments. This option would be great for those of us who use electronic logs. Thanks. I'll keep you updated on my experience.
