been following this for some time now, finally bought the TND over the others mostly because of the updates and my atlas has always worked.

In PA, Interstate 81 there is a section of highway that is posted 20mph for 4 miles. my Speed never changed back for almost 50 miles, actually when I changed roads. Also had an issue on Interstate 465 heading for PA, while the nav unit was going in the right direction it told me to take the 70 west exit for Indianapolis, then at the last second (also after I had the lane going to indy) it said "turn left" .....come on. Cant it just say from the get to take the 70 east exit towards dayton? The signage is just as big and easy to see as the indy one.

But other then that, its been different then my old unit (Navigon, which I really liked) its been good. But from reading this thread and now buying the TND it seems like this is still in (or should be) in beta testing phase.

Also taking the auto zoom off was helpful, for me anyways.

It was several bridges around the exit 1 area off of the I-190 in South Buffalo.
I would have to look at a map to get the actual streets. I think 1 was on Bailey. It was 14 foot, but the unit would not let me go that way, it wanted me to go about a mile and a half around thru residental areas.

Few days ago, I think. I have to find the shortcut for the dock to open it up and see if it has an update waiting. It was doing something stupid the other day that was interfering with winamp so I killed it.

Hmm, from what I could read it just grabbed an update for poi ratings. I don't know how dieselboss did that search for that hardware store. Mine hard locks if you try anything other than simple searches, like for a truck stop along the route. Try to list addresses or search for a store in a city and it just stops responding to anything until I restart it.

under your C:\ is a folder called logs... send me the last one (they go by date).

also if you are getting expired license, let me know your serial number and E-mail and I can get you a good license again.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I just sent all that. It said it was expired and crashed with an error popup when I went down a road it didn't like. I restarted it and it was ok once it figured out I wasn't driving through the field next to the road.

Oh, before I forget again, the odometers need looking at too. I keep forgetting to reset my weekly odometer back to zero and I just reset it to 221 miles. Due to RM's interface for that and the fact that only about every 2-3rd hit does anything, I just hit the + button roughly 400 times. I am annoyed.

This was a new one for me.

Route from Moutian View, MO. to Newark, NJ.

Stopped in Charleston, MO. Pilot, I-57 exit 10.

Came back out, wanted to look at turn list on TND.

    Nothing there. all blank.

Reboot unit, then rerun route. Now the turn list is back
